I told Bella with excitement in my voice that someone was going to send us some eggs that she could dye. She looked at me funny and said, “OK, but why am I going to die?”
When the Eggnots arrived in the mail, she proudly showed the carton to her dad. Always kidding, he asked, “Can you eat them?” This time she looked at me and said, “No, if you eat them you really will die!”
Cheryl Spielman, a doting aunt, has always enjoyed celebrating holidays with her seven nieces and nephews. When one of her nieces was diagnosed with multiple food allergies including egg, her heart broke. They could no longer dye Easter eggs together. Cheryl researched alternatives but could find none, so she created her own.
Eggnots are really cool! They look and feel quite a bit like real eggs. They dye exactly like real eggs. My older kids dyed real eggs while Bella dyed the Eggnots, and it was hard to tell the difference. They all turned out beautifully.

I was thinking about these all morning since I saw your Facebook Page….these should be advertised in schools for classrooms.
